The eagerly awaited album from Allison Iraheta, this year's fourth place finisher on American Idol, is due in stores December 1, 2009. The project is so far untitled. Among the production talent working with Iraheta are Kevin Rudolph, the man who went to the top 5 with his own "Let It Rock" and most recently helped Cobra Starship put together the smash "Good Girls Go Bad", and Max Martin, legendary Swedish pop producer whose most recent successes include Pink's huge "So What" and Kelly Clarkson's big hit "My Life Would Suck Without You." Allison Iraheta has indicated in interviews that she sees her music on the album as pop with a rock edge. Kevin Rudolph says he looks at her a bit like a new Janis Joplin or Pat Benatar. --> top40.about.com/b/2009/09/30/allison-irahetas-new-album-due-december-1-2009.htm
